that is until a gun nut comes in and crushes our dreams
HERETIC! The Joker > Lector.
Edit: One person does beat Joker - Grand Moff Tarkin.
Tarkin is a fave though, we talking movie villains?
Because:
Bill The Butcher (Daniel Day Lewis)
Frank (Henry Fonda)
HAL 9000
Col Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz)
and finally Norman Stansfield (Gary Oldman)
ROCK that category in my experience ;D
To modify a machine gun into a machine shotgun you would have to do a lot of machine work on the guts of the gun to accomodate a new bolt, new magwell, etc. You would have to switch barrels to something that would have some semblance of accuracy with buckshot/slugs instead of cartridges.
All of this would take a lot of machine work, and it surprises me that people in the Metro still have the knowledge and tools to start rechambering whole weapon systems into something completely different, but still very useful in the confines of an abandoned Metro.
TLDR: Yes, it's possible.
B. fully automatic shotguns already exist, AA12 is the best example. the reson the Abzats is reverse enginered from an MG is because these are the parts available to the gunsmiths in the metro.
C. yes, its possible, but you need to know a lot about gun creatin and proper factory apparatus to do it.
