How to Beat Librarians Easily and the Benefits of the HELLBREATH.
I have found that the best way to beat the librarians and black librarians is to use the HELLBREATH and bombs.

It also helps to buy the heavy armor but will also work with stealth armor. Just charge the battery into overcharge and then fire two shots into their heads.

With black librarians which are sleeping its best to throw a sticky bomb at them and then fire at their heads. They will first stand since you did not shoot them and let the bomb explode.

It is easy then to finish off with the HELLBREATH. Hellsing arrows I find may be reusable but if you miss your target and hit a wall, sometimes the arrows break. The HELLBREATH can also sustain more shots than the HELLSING can before needing to be charged/pumped again.

It is also better to trade all of your arrows for money, then buy ball berrings. This is because the ball bearings can cause lots of damage with both the HELLBREATH and the Tihar. You also get 8 berrings compared to 1 arrow for an MGR.

If you trade in all of the arrows and also got the first HELLBREATH which you resold at armory, then you can get over 1000 rounds for the HELLBREATH, making it the best weapon in game against the librarians and demons and watchers and anything else in the whole game.

I still recommend throwing knives against humans though.

The HELLBREATH is even better than the heavy automatic shotgun at taking down the plated nosalis. This is my opinion because a fully charged shot at the nosalis with the HELLBREATH does more damage and they jump back into the ceiling.

While it is in the ceiling you can recharge it to full capacity again and repeat the process while in a corner. This finishes the nosalis very quickly.

The range is incredible too. I can fire the HELLBREATH as far as a scoped VSV or a full powered tihar with more power. It was able to bring a demon down that was on top of a building with just three shots.

With practiced precision, this weapon can turn every mutant and human into a one hit kill, the exceptions being the demons and librarians requiring two shots to kill when hit in the head.

The plated Nosalis takes A LOT more punishment than any other mutant. It is still better to have the HELLBREATH though also because you can hit the mutants away with the rails.

If you do what Miller told you, its the best tactic. Keep your eyes on them and they will just go away and won't even attack you... Thats the best. I complete those levels every time in this way, without killing.

True, that is best but I like it when they are dead because then this gives me the assurance that I don't have to continue worrying about them if I fall in one of the holes into another floor. Also, one of the encounters is incredibly hard to stare down, being when you get locked in by the librarian and you are in a small room. It will jump down from the ceiling and that one is almost always one you have to fight.
