Stuck Defending City
I am doing a final playthrough on Ranger HC, and just made it to the point after "Ghosts" where you and Khan arrive at a town entrance and must defend alongside two other dudes against waves of mutants. I think my save may be glitched, since the waves are endless. I have tried going through about 20 minutes of waves, and am positive that I have met a progression blocking bug... Anybody experience this issue? If I have to start over from the beginning again, I am likely to never bother pushing through R HC for the achievement. This sucks.

The waves of enemies are endless. You need to go to the far left tunnel and the tunnel up the stairs to the right and blow up the tunnel entrances. Check out my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3ROhx1U0HA&list=PLB4F4381781EF1A03

The monsters will keep coming endless until you blow up the tunnels. This is not a bug.

Dude thanks! I haven't played this title since it's initial release, so needless to say I don't remember this part at all. Awesome.

You need to blow up two tunnels!

Sorry to bring up an old thread too, but I blew the right tunnel, but the left one that was shown in the video is just completely gone. No place to put the pipe bomb or anything. Just an empty tunnel.

The key bits in the video above are 2:18, 3:23 and 4:09. These are the two mission requirements to proceed...
