When will the game be distributed for free again?
I'm just one of those people who couldn't pick up the game for free back in 2021, and game is removed from sales, I would like to know when else it will be distributed again?

Please Deep Silver, give another chance to people like me to distribute the game again in 2023 or at least in 2024, I really also want to try the original, besides Redux

Maybe when the next game comes out, though I doubt it.

I want to hope that Metro 2033 original will not go away forever, but at least once more it will be distributed for free, otherwise it will be sad.

What I would love the most is that they reactivate the Metro Last Light Original so that those of us who couldn't get it. Note that it is 10 years since it was launched.
It is true that the Redux version replaces it because it includes all the DLC content, but even so, it would not be bad for many of us to have it.

Well, you know Metro Last Light Original, not as unique as Metro 2033 Original, it has its own more complex, but realistic stealth, more interesting AI, cutscenes from camera angles, and an interface with a design. And all that Metro Last Light can give is a more casual component, for example, fast reloading, accurate shooting, and much better optimization, but no more.

The stealth for both the original 2033 and original Last Light were kinda trash: 2033 had it to where if you were spotted the enemies always know where you are no matter what; LL the enemies were basically blind and deaf in the dark.

I wouldn't call either realistic.

I'm talked about Metro 2033, not about Last Light

Duh, and I said both have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stealth AI.

Redux Survival mode is better.

It's dumbed down for casuals and console players.

That's the Spartan mode, not Survival.

The ways it has been dumbed down is largely independent of that. I don't know why I always see you in this forum when you hate this version so much. Don't you have better things to do?

You know this version of 2033 was on consoles too right?

Anyway, you can get a key for this version on third party key sites. However you're gonna have to pay like $20-30.

just get it off of gog.com, no DRM no need to use a launcher and you actually own it. no license they can magically revoke like ubisoft is pulling. unles you mean the none redux, than you're SOL

If this is the Metro 2033 forum, it's clear that he's talking about the original.
