Massive Screen tearing Issues, Lenovo y50, Nvidia 860m
I did this:
Edit these two files:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\4A Games\Metro 2033\user.cfg
<Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\43110\remote\user.cfg
Change r_vsync off to r_vsync on
Change user.cfg to read-only to prevent the game overwriting changes.
Basically, everything in this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/43110/discussions/0/357286663677651955/
And still massive screan tearing when the camera moves.
My rig, from Geforce experience app:
GeForce 860M
Driver version 385.41
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ @2.50GHz
7.91 GB RAM
1920x1080, 60hz

Update: Tried switching to Dx 10, like in this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/43110/discussions/0/810925398545196790/
still, massive tearing, but it's slightly better, in a way. I'm not sure how, but it seems slightly better.

Also tried this, to no avail: https://www.nexusmods.com/metro2033/mods/1

Force vsync and triple buffering from the driver, leave DX11 on, disable SSAA physx blur and tess, force the game to run on your 860m with high performance power profile.

Since you are playing the original and not redux, don't expect to play this game on anything higher than low. Use the benchmark.
