Report a translation problem
I can't speak for all achievements because I didn't finish the game yet but I don't think you should fear reloading levels from the main menu.
I finished the story and I also got the Weaponsmith and the Enlightened achievements without any trouble. So at least for me reloading earlier levels didn't have any impact on the achievement progress. The only achievement that I had to do from scratch was Sherlock. Just loading the levels and collecting the ammo didn't work for me.
