in his story it's revealed he set up his old brother and become head of the clan himself, tried to kill him and failed. so his only objective is to kill his older brother because he's battle obssesed daemon now. his personality is just a nice all round guy, there is actually nothing notable about his personality, it's just crickets. his ending sucks, he just roaming somewhere killing daemons, he's not mentioned as far as i know in any sequel or prequel

Personally, I think what makes him most interesting is his relationship with his brother.

He is a daemon so it is understandable. His motives are not good. He was just jealous of his brother. Shigure even with his mistaken support of Artorius was much more honourable than Rokurou could ever hope to be. It's a story of a villain actually who happened to meet Velvet, he has a code though because he supports her because of his debt. Eizen is a much better person/malak.

Even in his one to one battle he cheated using three swords. He doesn't care though as long as he gets to lord over his brother in the end. None of Berseria's characters are truly good. They are all marvelously grey. I do adore Majilou the most broken and sad of the lot who manages to rise above it. She fights Melchior on her own knowing she has no chance. There right there shows you her convictions.
