Crashes on launch
I have a very high end computer and I was changing the graphics to set them to the highest they could go. I guess I did something wrong but now the games crashes as soon I launch. I've tried unistalling it, deleting game files then reinstalling it, veryifiyng the game files and backing up files but it doesn't fix it. Please help

A couple of things to try:

First of all, ensure that your antivirus isn't flagging the game executable as a false positive as there has been instances of that screwing up the game starting up. - Mcafee seems to be a culprit here. If this is happening, you'll need to add it to your antivirus exceptions list and re-verify the game files

You could also try deleting the game config files, held in here:
C:\Users\<yourwindowsid\AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\Tales of Berseria
gamecontrollerdb.txt
TOB.cfg

Sooo, I was bored today and reinstalled the game, since I never really finished it and guess what? It crashed upon the "check for add ons" thingie when starting up.
I reinstalled, verified game cache etc.... ya know, the usual stuff.
Nothing helped, except this one thing:
I went to:
<Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\429660
and just deleted the friggin save folder ("429660").
I suppose, my old save file was corrupted or something, soooo if anyone is experiencing these startup crashes, try deleting your old save folder!
