Alternative games similiar in style?
I kind of like these games, similiar to the old Dragon Quest games, are there any alternatives to this on Steam? To be quite honest I havent tried this yet, it simply looks a little too cringy for me, but that might just be because I dislike this female protagonists looks.
Thanks for any recommendations

Unfortunately, Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria are the only Tales games on Steam. If you want more of these games, you have to be willing to buy this as well as Tekken 7 as well as God Eater 2 Rage Burst, since T7 and GE2 are from the same developers.

Additionally, Ace Combat 7 has been announced for PC, though a Steam store page has yet to be made. I'd say keep a diligent eye out for it and pre-order, because it's likely that they'll use AC7 to decide if they'll ever make another PC game again.

I'm not really seeing big similarities between this game and old Dragon Quest games.

Velvet can be a bit cringy, but overall the crew in this game is pretty top-notch. The only games I can think of with a better cast are the Legend of Heroes: Trails games (4 of those on Steam). That series is probably my favorite JRPG series so far, up there with SMT.

Edit: Grandia 2 battles are kind of like a cross between the Dragon Quest menu style and how Tales games play out in real time, which is pretty interesting. That might be worth checking out.

As much as i am willing to throw down $400.95 just to tell Bandai Namco Studios to keep putting their games on Steam, there is a reason why i didn't mention Symphonia.
