"Thanks" for making it slightly more inaccessible to new players?..
The game was released MORE THAN FOUR YEARS ago.
What is the point of doubling (RU) the price for this product?
i know this is a stupid rant and its technically not their fault that the money the devs are getting is much less, i paid actually 50c for the game 50 USD CENTS! when it was at -85% discount, but the truth is that our money peso argentino, or russian ruble is devaluating more and more and our salaries dont even get raised imagine that a mere game cost 10% or more of your salary? screw regional pricing i guess?, and 650$ ARS of 4 years ago was like 20 dollars actualy right now 2500$ is still 20 dollars(the legal one not the one that a common people can get) but my salary didnt went 400% at all in 4 years more like 150% or less and with a hyperinflation is even worse here
I suppose that the reason for the increase in the price of individual titles — is their sales. If the product sells, you can sell it for more. It doesn't matter if the product loses a certain number of potential players. But this is just an assumption.
P.S. Major console games literally cost 1/4 of the salary of people in many regions of Russia.
Talk about being stupid and raising prices like that. Now people in the regions like Russia or Argentina will either wait for MAJOR dscounts(like75-85%), or just pirate it.
Like our lord and savior Gaben once said about regional prcing, something akin to these words.
"You're either getting atleast some money from the customers, or none at all."
Because enyone with half a brain can guess, that people which live in countries that have huge problems with salaries and the like, wont really be able to buy stuff with price increase like that. But i guess they dont care. Well, less money for them. Greedy bastards.
remember they already somewhat fixed now you need a local emited card to buy on latin america so if you dont have an account in argentina with a card from argentina or other country from the same region you wont be able to buy it even with VPN
i got youngblood for 225 ARS plus the 65% taxes on digital purchases (thanks comunism) and my brother from spain had an argentine card but obviously he couldnt use it to purchase in steam since he was obviously in spain and changed region, so at least we are safe from vpn abusing for the most part
También hay quienes se prestan para crear cuentas en estas regiones por dinero u otro tipo de recompensa.
It's close to that price during sales but this thread is about regional prices which increased quite a lot, specifically ARS. Your USD store has the same price as before.
