Game Not Running, Issues With "Bad Image"

I decided that I wanted to pick the game back up after a long hiatus, and the game will not start up.

When I first tried to launch it through steam, I would launch the game, the game would say running on steam for a few seconds, and then it would stop running.

I eventually went into the files of the game and tried just launching the .exe, and it brings up the "Bad Image" error message where it says "MSVCP120.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for supper. Error status 0xc000012f".

I tried a few solutions, such as reinstalling the game, verifying the file integrity (which steam said was fine), and even doing a computer scan for malfunctioning software (sfc scannow in the cmd) and restarting my computer.

None of the above have worked and I'm out of ideas. Is there a fix I've overlooked?

If it matters, I'm on Windows 10 with an updated GTX 1060 3GB, and I can supply other specs if needed.

Sounds like you will need to reinstall the relevant VC redistributable runtimes, it's possible they have become corrupt or something.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist

This game needs the 2010, 2012, and 2013.

Be sure to install both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of them.
