innominat is the original laphicet reincarnated. And the malakhim laphicet is also laphicet reincarnated. So what the ♥♥♥♥? Who's the real laphicet how the ♥♥♥♥ does reincarnation work?

I dont remember malakhim being Laphicet reincarnated but you are correct in saying that innominat is laphicet reincarnated.

- Celica died and was reincarnated as malakhim seres.
- When Celica died she was pregnant.
- The unborn child of Celica died and was reincarnated as malakhim Laphicet.
- Velvet named malakhim Laphicet as "Laphicet" only because he reminded her of her brother. No actual connections there though.
- Original Laphicet was reincarnated as Inominat.

Malak Number 2, renamed Laphicet (Phi) by Velvet, is the reincarnation of Velvet's older sister Celica's unborn child, who died on the first Scarlet Night that we see in the game's opening anime cutscene (and again from the Earthen Historia flashbacks while in the Earthpulse).

Innominat is the reincarnation of Velvet's younger brother Laphicet who died during the game's prologue, and was the still-needed second sacrifice in order to fully awaken Innominat.

But I guess that brings up another question. What is innominat? Since people can be reincranted as it does that mean it's more of a title than an actual god?

Innominat is an Empyrean, which are the Gods of the Berseria/Zestiria universe, who govern the elemental balance in the world (with the Empyreans themselves being a sort of ultra-powerful Malakhim).

The main 4 are the Empyreans of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water, with Innominat - the 5th - being a sort of special case. His roll is suppression, helping to keep not only the other 4's power from running wild, but also Malevolence.
