Some costumes are silly, like those big theme park mascot suits, but there are options.
Which is exactly why I like her character! Glad to see a female protag like this instead of the usual male ones. I also like how she has brief moments of confliction over her actions and lack of emotion.
Anyway I think there is only 1-2 costumes that are "appropiate" without being silly. Aside from her Village clothes, you get a lot of "stuffed animal"-esque costumes for the most part early on. However, about halfway you'll get some more options. Though if you really want to get some "good" costumes you might as well grab the DLC. A couple of them are really good, IMO, not just for Velvet. I thought it was worth it, except for the swimwear one since it's pure fanservice.
But yeah, I played with the villager outfit for a good chunk of the game. It's good and non-DLC. I never liked the main outfit.
Huh, I'll have to give that music a listen on YouTube then. I liked the Hairstyles at first glance but I didn't want to pay for swimwear I wasn't going to use lol. Guess I'll have to see if the Music is worth it for me then. :)
