best way to farm grade?

I've tried going to lower level area and farming dire foes but they dont spawn very often. Also tried farming the first floor boss of ex dungeon which is pretty quick and decent, but wondering if there are maybe better ways of summoning dire foes or farming grade

In Dyle's cave, there is a place where you can transition areas back and forth and have the enemies respawn without dropping the grade bonus. Just be sure to have a dark bottle active so you don't instakill enemies with the geoboard.

It's also the best way to master gear and farm powders without breaking the bank since amber gear is cheap to enhance.

On the other hand, it turns out the first boss is actually a really great farm in general, tons of exp, cash and decent grade. Been farming him since i wrote the post an hour ago and ive made 1.5k grade, 1.7m gald, and a ton of exp.

Yeah, outside of the Lindwurm the first EX boss is a pretty great farm all around, if nothing else then because it's consistent (no need to hope it spawns, etc.). You can typically just fight the EX Boss 5+ times in the amount of time it might take to make the Lindwurm spawn once.

The only downside to the EX Boss farm is that it loads up up with tons of EXP, too, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but being a higher level makes doing Dangerous Encounters in lower-level areas exponentially more deadly (just the basic enemies in Dyle's cave can easily one-shot you on Intense if you're anywhere near level 150, for example).
