It's not hard, but need time / grind / farm and there is 1 missable (if i'm correct)
So yes, you can just play through the story as you want but you may want to take a look for the missable (beware spoilers), if you don't want to NG+
I wonder about that missable or others.. don't wnat to spoil myself reading accidentally but.. mm Good that ng+ is an optuion though.
Does the difficulty scale up a bunch?
The difficulty does scale, with the most noticable effect being that healing spells become almost worthless on Choas difficulty (the hardests), in that their effectiveness is reduced to 20% of what they would be on Normal (-20% to healing with each difficulty above Normal, basically). There are no difficulty-related achievements, though, so it doesn't matter what difficulty you want to play on.
Do you think i need the increased drop rate of higher difficulties? otherwise lower diff would be better for more exp, there doesn't seem to be any difficulty achievement strangely.
