Kamoana's Voice Actor...

Okay, the voice acting in this game isn't terrible for the most part. All the main character's voices are passable, yet there is one exception...

Kamoana's voice actor sounds like someone barely clinging to life after sucking down a million cigarettes at once. It's honestly uncomfortable to listen to her so I just skip her dialogue completely. Yeesh.

They needed an annoying child's voice and they did exceptionally well at finding one.

With that said, I've never hated a voice as much as I hate Kamoana's.

Yeah, compared to the great voice acting throughout the game, her's was pretty jarring. She also sounds a lot like Naruto, especially her work as Rainbow Mika:

It's the same voice actress - Bonnie Gordon.

I played with japanese voices, so I checked out of curiosity Mona's voice... Good grief, that's painful. Especially when you compare both voices. Mona's voice in japanese is sometimes a little bratty and annoying when she cries, but overall it's completely believable. Also she's on the high pitched side of things.
The blame also falls on the recording studio and the cast director who deemed it was an adequate voice and a good performance and didn't do a retake.
