If I get to the katz village in my current playthrough, will still be unlocked in new game +?

Other than mastering weapons and grade farming, what else should I make sure I do before starting?

Katz Korner will be locked and you'll have to open Katz boxes for the invitation again.

Before starting your New Game +, I would suggest dismantling all your gear. This is because there's no Grade Shop option to keep weapons and armor but there is one to keep consumables and materials. There's also no option to keep your gald, so you should use it all at shops since you can pay grade to keep your shop level. Items from your shop level will be given to you at the beginning of the new game. If you're going for achievements, you should also work on getting everyone's titles to level 2 while grade farming. You can keep title levels and progress through the grade shop and you probably should considering how much of a grind many of those titles are to level up.

Once your New Game+ is started, you'll probably want to meet the secret Dire Foe, Metaboar. You have a very limited time to meet him as he only shows up during the prologue and only before Velvet fights the prickleboar family. For him to show up, you need to kill prickleboars on Chaos difficulty at the Shrine of Tranquility, where they respawn. This means you have to carry over your potentites as one of them allows Dire Foes to appear and another allows you to play on Chaos difficulty.
