How is The Endgame?
I played this a while ago, put in around 20 hours but then my controller broke and i stopped playing, now i wanna go back with a fresh save. But to encourage myself id like to know if there is a substantial endgame in Berseria, seeing that 800 people are playing still and the fact that i have seen people with hundreds of hours played... iam hopeful.

After beating the boss, you can still load back the completed save file (with a star symbol) to complete the rest of the sidequest. Afterall, there are some sidequest available ONLY after you beaten the final boss and load back the save file. After you did everything, you can choose to straight away jump into NewGame+ without the need to beat the final boss. But if you want to challenge the boss again, you can still do it.

The game is on average 80-100 hours per playthrough. Just average.

It is not exaclty clear to me what you are asking: whether the end part of the game is good and worth playing or if it is worthy to go for multiple playthroughs of the game. In the first case, yes, the late part of the game is really good, particularly story-wise, with a solid end game and a lot of good material in the side quests. But the game is not infinite: once you did finish the main plot, do all side quests and extra dungeons, that's it. On the gameplay side everything keeps up more or less similarly, you unlock some extra moves and artes, but nothing groundbreaking.
Regarding replaybility, then no, it is not worthy to go for multiple playthroughs since there aren't multiple routes or brances in the plot. But of course you can enjoy again the contents with a second run.

i appreciate your answer but i dont think you know what "Endgame" is lol i mean optional superbosses, boss gaunlets similar to tales of graces f challenges, secret triggers by playing on different difficulties, i dont mean replayability xD

There are 6 optional boss in the final dungeon, to unlock the 3rd mystic for each character. There is one Bonus Dungeon which you can access through a sidequest, only after you beaten the final boss. The bonus dungeon contains dual mystic artes for each characters.

Just a reminder, too bad in this game, you CANNOT carry over any of the mystic artes. I think the Dual Mystic Artes are exceptions because they are part of the Potentites (Galcites, Ventites etc.), they are not part of the arte tree. I personally never tried it, but I think that is the case because you CAN carryover Potentites.

@Simon:
You always provide decent answer for many questions about Berseria. How about Star Ocean 4 HD on steam, that game is similar with Tales series . Do you want to try it? :D

It depends on your levels, your gears, and also the difficulty. I tried playing at Intense but it was a bit too hard. So I reduce the difficulty a bit to reduce the level gap between my party and enemy. Overall, it was okay.

Thx. :D That thought did crossed my mind before but I just don't really find interest in Space/sci-fi themed games. When I was younger, unlike most boys, I never really liked Robot themed anime or cartoons for example "transformers". I don't hate them but they just don't attract me that much. However, I like to watch those Barbie Movies that was aired occsionally on TV. XD Basically, I prefer the more fantasy and magic themed Tales series.

Endgame is lit fam. I finished the main story at 70 hours but endgame added an extra 30+ hours for me and tbh it shouldve been longer but I decreased the difficulty to easy for a lot of it.

As of right now I have a little over 100 hours total

too bad this game broke down on some of us for reasons i don't know lol. I liked this tales game better than the others. It worked perfectly fine for 49 hours of play then slowed down after i downloaded the fall creator update for windows 10. Despite reverting back to the previous version of windows 10 it did nothing and is still slow :/. Nice to know there is some gameplay value after end game (that's if i can play it without the slow motion occuring lol).
