Free Costumes DLCs question

I've downloaded the 5 free costumes dlcs, but they dont appear in game. I am 2 hours through. What do I have to do to change these costumes? I only get prisioner, peasant and normal clothes for velvet so far...

None of the free dlcs contain any costumes, so im not sure what you mean. As for paid dlc costumes, its enough to restart the steam client, at least thats what i did with pirate costumes to make them work.

After you download the DLC, you have activate them in game. Go into the items inventory, then to the Add-on/DLC tab. Then use them to activate them.

By the way, the free does NOT contain any free costume. The rest of the free costumes can be gotten in game. Mostly through mini games, sidequest or by opening katz chest. (Each two katz chests you open gives one costume item)
