Try installing Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 for that one.

Did you install Steam to the default Program Files folder and installed the game demo into the default library location as well?
If so, that might explain needing admin permissions. Normal users cannot write to the Program Files folder tree and the game may (as quite a few stupid developers have set their games up to do) attempt to write a configuration file directly into the game's folder or directly write a save file into the Steam Cloud remote-sync folder.
Always install Steam to a folder outside of Program Files that has permission to be written to by normal users.
Yea i always install steam to the root directory for example D:/steam/
this works totaly for me, thx alot!!
game run just smooth a fine to me now.
