Spoilers. How to get to this code red demon?

The Serial Killer tree. I was in its area, but it was blocked by a gas type barrier that I couldn't bypass. Can anyone help?

The area is a bit of a puzzle map. There are 3 gas types (red,blue, and yellow) that you have to eat the respective fruits that are dotted around the map. There are red,blue, and yellow fruit trees you have to eat in order to bypass their respective gas walls, however, when you eat one type of fruit any fruit you ate before is nullified ( so if you ate red fruit to bypass red gas walls and eat for example blue fruit next, you can bypass blue gas walls but you can no longer pass red gas walls). Look for small trees on the map and remember their locations and color types, early on the puzzle is simple but as you get deeper into the area you may have to backtrack now and then to eat certain types of fruit to bypass certain gas walls that may appear in your way. That being said, the code Red for that area needs geoboard and red fruit to enter. Scour the area from the code Red location for red fruit trees and find a way to eat the right fruit in the right sequence to reach the code Red boss. There should be a yellow fruit tree south of the local area of the Code Red Boss and a red fruit tree east of it. Hint hint when you cross the cliff via jumping on rocks and running along small cliffs in the local area of the Code Red location, if you examine the area around it there should be the red fruit tree. Honestly, if you scour the areas for the trees and figure out the puzzle needed to advance forward it shouldn't be too hard.

P.S. I am sorry if I made this too lengthy or not to the point as I have a bad habit of trying to explain things thoroughly and helpfully with too much information.

The Code Red deamon is behind a red gas barrier. Near the beggining you have to climb up some rocks on your left to get to the other side.
Instead climb the rocks on the right. There will be a tree with red fruit there up there. Eat that then head on over to the other side and geoboard your way across.

What is this? I completed the game a month ago but I don't get it. I think I missed some quests

its when u are going to stonebury while in the aldia plains. if u dont go into stonebury and instead go to the far north exit. u will enter an optional area called daval forest.

Well, there are a few dungeons where the story doesn't take you, and only side quests do.
2 of them are near stoneburry (one is closed until the last step of magilou menagery's side quest, the other one is the forest where you go for the medecine side quest, where there is the gas thing), the other one is near the sea gate.

Basically most of the zones in the game have a code red in them, some need a side quest to unlock it, others have them just laying there, the forest happens to be one of the ones "just laying there", and you can reach it as soon as you get the geo-board (the zone and the code red are both designed to be within the levels you are at that time too).

The forest itself has a very simple puzzle that's very much similar to the gate switches in a few other dungeons, you eat a coloured fruit and you can pass through that colour's smoke (doesn't stack, so if you eat an other colour you can no longer pass through the old colour).

I am fairly sure that the code red NPCs also list that boss fairly early on in the list (not too sure because I usually don't look at it and just go to collect the meager money rewards).
