How do I perform Rokurou's 2nd Mystic?

I know I need to have combo'd 8 different artes in a row but how would I even go about doing that? Be lucky enough some enemy uses a Malak Arte just as I get through the 4th arte of my combo?

You don't actually need to counter anything to use Rokuro or Magilou's break soul. Even if you use them with no target they will still allow you to continue your chain. The break soul itself will simply do nothing.

This obviously isn't ideal but if your sole aim is the second mystic it's serviceable enough.

4 artes, -> BS -> 4 artes, you don't have to hit anything with BS.

Also Rokurou's BS increases stun chance so it's always nice to spam it when comboing.

^^^ If you have max souls with rokurou use his break soul at the end of a combo even if you don't hit anything with a counter it's super nice and efficient assuming you can continue a combo after using it.
