Malak Artes combos

How do I chain Magilou's Aqua Split and Flood Wall with a single button pression, similar to martial artes? If I keep the button pressed, the cast is on hold.

Press LT while holding the arte's button.

Press the Mystic Arte button when you hold the spell Don't worry, it won't trigger the Mystic arte

Sorry for necroing this thread but I also have this issue. I press the Mystic Arte button (on keyboard, default key = C) and all it does it skip the current spell to go to the next one. It doesn't chain cast like martial artes do.

Am I doing something wrong or something buggy with keyboard controls?

Try holding down the button AFTER the spell has casted. Let go of the Arte button first

That spell-skipping feature is actually due to a certain "potentite" you obtained before. It allows you to cast higher tier spells by using lower tier spells, by holding down the arte button + mystic Arte button.
