Game won't start again after I alt f4'd

So basically, the game pretty much froze on me a few hours ago, and I tried killing it via task manager, but it wouldnt open, so I tried to ALT F4 and that worked. But now, whenever I open the game it just tells me 'Tales of berseria.exe has stopped working."

Every single time this happens. I tried killing steam and other apps that could be the issue but its still not working. I even tried to reboot my game. This sucks because I have put at least 20 legit hours into this game and want to play some more.

Use steam to do a file verification. Right click the game in your library and goto properties. then under local files click "verify integrity of game files"

I mean, if its all good, then the only thing left to try is a computer reboot (you never mentioned trying this) although computer restarts should be common sense id imagine. Sorry i couldnt be of anymore help.

Whoops, I meant to say "I even tried rebooting my PC." So yes, I have tried this, sadly nothing works.

Oh wow... I fixed it!

Somehow Vanilla WoW was interfering with the game and not allowing it to open,, once I closed vanilla WoW it worked!

i had a similar issue where alt+F4, but it caused a fatal error crash and the game uninstalled itself. But it found it after tryed installing again lol
