I find Eizen's a bit trickier to do because you need a down or a stun to use the soul break, and while the second and fourth of the first row have that (when you learn them at least), it's not as easy to pull off.
At least Magilou's break resets her combo uses properly even if no enemy magics are absorbed.
Funny thing is that the AI seems to use the second break of Magilou nearly as often as her first, unlike rokurou or velvet.
If you want to make sure you are not going to just end up killing the enemy too soon, take big ones, dragon and armour species tend to have high HP, so they are great for that and "combo kills".
So even if the break doesnt absorb spells, it still keeps the combo going proper?
That makes things a lot simpler then.
