DLC Costume missing texture, censored or poorly done?

For those who got the DLC's which include the Japon costume for Velvet, have you noticed something if you have it equipped during cutscenes and climbing ladders? I'm not sure if its bad censorship, missing textures or just a bad design choice, but it looks... crap.

So... the devs lied to us about none of Velvete's costumes being censored then? But why? This costume leaves very little to the imagination for the top half!

I find it mildly concerning that BuruBuru seemed to be banned almost right after posting that screenshot, but regardless, I don't think it was actually censored.
I looked up a trailer for the costume in Japan and it looked like she had the same black spats there.

People, this is nothing new. This is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to texture an area that would almost never be normally seen. It's better than having it be see-through and/or empty. So they just make it a single flat color.

We have our answer know "POORLY DONE"... I don't remember seeing it when I played the Japanese release, but that might have been my rosey glasses of nostalgia working there. Anyways, if the mods can close this thread, that'll be apreciated.

Why are you quoting me with that instead of Buru's post when mine was the first to say it's not censored?
Anyway, I think it's probably a(n odd) design choice instead of just raw lazyness or lack of lewdness though, are there any other outfits that show off spats of any kind at all?
With how they even focus on it in trailers like that, I'd be very confused if they were proudly showing off their laziness or never expected players to see it in game, and with the way it's done they could've just given her plain black panties on par with what Magilou shows off all the time on her outfits instead.

Geez... do you even understand the meaning of the term "censorship" in the first place folks?

It is referring to the process of obsucring, removing, covering or otherwise denying you to see something you are not supposed to see. So by any given logic a missing texture that was never created in the first place - for whatever reason possible - has nothing to do with censorship at all. It is plain simple not creating something you were hoping to see. And since they - at least to my knowledge - never advertised this game to contain pantyshots and lingerie display either that is a perfectly viable design decision too.

Nobody lied to you. It was simply your imagination running wild into the ecchi corner as soon as you heard the word "uncensored".

What Kiru said. It's not censorship, it's a bad design, probably after the original devs thought you'd never see that section of the body. I only noticed it after I climbed that ladder and suddenly there's what looks like a black square on her behind. But it's in the original, and I booted up my Japanese release PS4 version to prove to myself it was there after all.

I am pretty sure they intended for you to see it, they prominently showed off those black split spats in the trailers for the outfits which I already mentioned.

If it's good design is another thing though, even if they wanted to go that route a string at the bottom of the spats "holding" it close to the skin would've been a lot cuter than it being glued on.

And who do you think is trolling?
There's only one person in this entire thread being Buru that said it's actually censored so I have no idea who you (or anybody else here now really) is talking about.
