There is no official "content restoration patch". I suspect that this may be because the dev had no place to host such a patch at the time the game was created. Whether third parties have chosen to create such patches I cannot say because I honestly haven't looked.
If you need a place to host said content most other visual novels keep them on either Nutako or Mangagamer.

I wish steam would stop being so prudish with it's rules. Not many kids have access to credit cards and if they do it's the parents fault for not watching them more carefully. And in the meantime the rest of us have to suffer.
... which, I guess, makes my stance on "adult content" reasonably clear...
Hosting on other sites usually requires some sort of agreement with that other site... and I have no information about what they would want or whether NWG has started negotiation with any of them. Though the greenlight for his next game does say that it will have a content restoration patch hosted elsewhere, so I assume he's talked to someone about this.
I agree 200% with you. Don't even get me started on the old Violence vs Nudity debate.

Edit:
Yes, nude patch would be awesome. :3 Would love to buy "A Nude Catgirl Appears!".
Please do. I just purchased and joined your patreon as well. I look forward to more work from you.
One failed idea was to turn the game into a more RPG style game. The story revolved around a new protagonist, who found the old Starla amiibo at her school. This triggered a reaction, and sent her to the land Starla was from.
From there, they met other animal girl races and recruited them as companions. They eventually met Starla and Ami too, on an uninhabited island with ancient ruins. And yes, the dog people were the ultimate bad guys.
But... though the concept was interesting, and linked in well with the original, the plot... kind of went nowhere. It also felt just a little too ambitious.
Though I may end up using that lead-in for the sequel, I thought I'd provide that little insight! AWCA2 will likely be the game I work on after my current project is over, in December/January. Stay tuned!
