just a spin off, don't think the game will ever connect with the actual TV show. Only backrounds which haven't been told made it to comic books and games so far...

best to keep them seperated, or people will moan all day.

No. Both the Telltale games and the comic take place in the same universe, and this game focuses on what Michonne was doing during a certain period in the comics. It has nothing to do with the TV show.

Don't think this will have any connection to season 3... I guess maybe some of the survivors could appear like the "400 days" ones in season 2 but probably this is only a cash-in spinoff with michonne as bait because of her huge popularity
