Is There A Point To This Game?

I got the demo of this this game on Game Tunnel's website and kept playing and kept playing... The game just never ends. Is there a point to this? There's no card manipulation or real strategy. It's just: Chain Cards - Remove and Repeat. Why would I purchase the full game?
