:lumela: [3/4/17] Since I only recently figured out what the hell Steam Gifts [www.steamgifts.com] is all about, I've started putting up all of the keys I don't need for anyone to access.

:circle::lesapo::moonpearl::lesapo::circle: Here's my profile: marzipanvt [www.steamgifts.com]:circle::lesapo::moonpearl::lesapo::circle:

If you are like me and the point of the site has befuddled you, I shall 'splain! :zarp:

It is free and reputable; I think we can all agree those are two very desirable things. :rsgoldstar:

Instead of being like a "first come, first serve" scenario (which I thought it was and immediately decided it wasn't for me because I don't like racing others for keys) it's actually like a lottery. The keys that users put up on the site are up there for a set amount of time (determined by the key holder) and other users can enter those giveaways for the chance of being the lucky one to receive the key (determined randomly by the website.)

The key holder can limit accessibility to the giveaway by giving it a level requirement. Levels are obtained by holding giveaways of your own. But there are many giveaways on the site that are open to everyone, regardless of level.

Winning is rare (seems to be close to a 1 in 500+ chance), but it's fun and painless to try. :tinydice:

Games are worth a certain number of points based on their monetary value. For example, a fairly expensive game might be worth 40 points, whereas a super cheap one is only valued at 2.

Everyone is given 300 points to spend on entering the giveaways. Those points come back throughout the day. There isn't a way to increase your maximum number of allotted points, but this keeps things more fair for those who don't have money to spend on the website. So you can enter 300 points-worth of giveaways and later on, when you get points back, you can enter some more! It can be kind of addicting.

You can only enter each giveaway once, but there are frequently multiple giveaways running for the same games. I recommend going into your settings on the website and making it so that you only see giveaways that are within your level range. If you're like me and maintain a huge Steam wishlist, you can connect it to Steam Gifts and then filter your results even further by clicking "wishlist" in the lefthand sidebar to see what's available of the games you know you want.

Well, I think that covers all the basics. I hope this helped anyone who needed it! :summerghost:

Hey there! I saw you had a 100% on Time Trap - Hidden Objects.
I want to try it too, but I'm kinda confused on the "Winner" achievement.
Do I have to be really fast and get combo's, or do I just have to click everything right, even without the combo?
