Online Multiplayer
Is it still possible to play this game online?

I have some ideas for a friend of mine who might be interested in buying it.

It has been about 2 years since I did it, but the last time I played network with friends we used LogMeIn Hamachi. Worked fine

It seems Hamachi is the most suggested around here. Just to mention an alternate, Game Ranger used to work great for us, but it seems more people are having problems with it lately. I've not tested it for a few years myself.

Not sure why you say that. It is free and pretty easy to set up. And there are other VPN software you can use.

When I used game ranger in the past it worked fine, I was just saying there have been some complaints about it lately so I dunno if it's still working. I'd give it a try if you don't want to do Hamachi for whatever reason.

Unfortunately third party tools like that are basically the only way to play since the mess with Gamespy being shut down.

You can also configure a virtual port on your router to point at your host PC. Instructions are on the wiki I assume. But a VPN might be easier to configure? dunno?

Do you guys have issues with online stuttering when it comes to combat situations? Me and my friends have it pretty brutal. Was wondering if anyone knows of a fix

Click LAN Game, Join Manually and just type in the IP of the Host. that Works.
