Map completion

Been playing this game for about 4 hours, beat it with the True Ending on Normal Difficulty and I've just been going back and forth trying to figure out where the last 1% is of the map, I currently have 99% and when I look at the map, I can't seem to see where I could've missed it, been looking for a while and still nothing, anyone know what it could be?

I am stuck the same way. It would be dope if someone with 100% map completion could post a screen shot of their map.

Definitely, I would also appreciate if I could see a map which showed where all the bugs are too, I only seems to have ike 6 lol.

I actually just found the part of the map I'm missing, there's a room in the Monastry that I need a key for, seems like it isn't the Monastry Key that's required, plus, I still want to find the mystery of that ?????? door.

This game really follows the 2D Metroid maps,
if you haven't fully mapped an area, the white room border will be glaringly incomplete.

Have you found all the health upgrades yet? That usually leads to 100%.
Other highly missable areas:
- some areas you can only access as a cat
- the other Church boss


????? door is a bonus that unlocks after 100% map exploration.

That one was my last room as well. Just hold down and jump from your exact position. It seems to expect you to try it just based on the map.

Once you finish making that (I'm guessing you're adding all the vitality upgrades, bugs, etc) post it here so I can use it, I'm planning to speedrun 100% of this game since I imagine Any% is quite short, I have a 35:23 and I want to learn a longer category.

I have 99% and ive been through every room over and over again but I cannot seem to find any difference between me and the screen shot earlier in the thread. What do you mean by 'the other church boss'?

There's a locked door in the church area at the top of the massive ladder. To open it you need to give the tissue to the gal who is near the save point of that area. Then the door will open. You can enter and get 100% of the map without fighting the boss in there.
