Considering you've mentioned you got the Passiflora when you didn't end her suffering, then you get it no matter what, since I always did.
Edit: Should also mention ending Cath gets rid of the body, that's about it.
What is this game about? Because only after buying this one I was 'aware' that it is a series with at least 2 other games...is this game's experience 'damaged' by not playing the previous ones?
This game actually comes first chronologically in the Momodora story, so playing this first is fine. Momodora 2 and 3 are good and worth playing, I didn't like Momodora 1 too much but you may as well try it out. They all generally follow the same plot structure.
