Where is the garden key?

Hey guys,

I lost my key! I beat the boss at the submerged underground facility but I can't get into the gardens because it is missing from my inventory? Where did it go? Can i retrieve it again, or did I encounter a game breaking bug? ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥.

You must have missed it. You don't get it from a boss, you have to find it. Hint: It's in the underwater area

Also you don't have to go straight to the garden after the underwater area. You can do the monastry or the cinder chambers first if you prefer.

Exactly as replied above. If you think you actually found a game breaking bug, please upload your save file somewhere so I can take a look.

I actually did pick up the key, at least I got a message for that. Now it is gone, so I have to drop the game now, sad. I am going to upload my save file tomorrow, if that's okay.

The key shows up under key items, in case you haven't checked there. I'll take a look at your save file once it's uploaded and add that item for you so you can continue.

Edit: I would suggest checking the key location again just in case you had a death before saving your game. That'd explain why it's not in the inventory
