Edea's pearl, and the dull pearl... do they stack

I looked on google first i swear! I found a thread on here that said you could only have on in game at a time. Yet i find myself with both.

also bonus question... which item gives the mid air dash. I just found out recently... was i able to do this the whole game?

They serve the same function and do not stack.

The item that gives you the air dash is the Crest Fragment after the Arsonist boss.
