Remaining Questions about Momodora
I finished the game twice (regular game and new game +) with 100% map completion and all 20 ivory bugs in 7 hours. The wikia for this game is dead so I figure I would ask my remaining questions here.

Forlorn Monastery:
1a. Is there any purpose to the room with the bell and spiral staircase? All I could figure out was to hit the bell for some munny.
1b. Why does the boss call Kaho the "Lady in White" when the boss wears all white but Kaho doesn't? It took me a while to figure out that line was supposed to be directed at the player's character. Seems poorly written.
1c. How do you talk to the Witch's cat? I assume it's the purple one with red eyes. The witch tells you to talk to it, but it's always asleep when I visit with the cat orb.
1d. What does giving 15 minutes do when you are asked for it in the chapel?

Subterranean Grave:
2a. Is there a way to save the 2nd prisoner in the room where you rescue the coughing dude?
2b. What's the deal with the underwater save spot that's buried in rubble and not usable? I couldn't figure out any way to interact with it.

Whiterose Garden:
3a. Can anything be done with the hidden prisoner that eats cake, other than to talk to and kill it?
3b. Is there a way to get a different outcome than coughing dude mourning his lost wife at the grave? I did re-kill someone's dead sister (?) in the Forlorn Monastery so maybe I shouldn't have done that, plus there was no reward for it.

Portrait Gallery (it has some ridiculous name I can't remember):
4a. What's the deal with the laughing red skull? I assume it's a red herring.
4b. Can you open the door or do anything useful with the 2 scared people hiding in the back? I'm guessing not, but might as well ask.

Others:
5a. What's Sacred Wind for other than getting the green leaf? It has 3 charges for some reason, but I wasn't able to find any other use for it.
5b. What's the purpose of New Game+? I couldn't tell any difference except there were slightly more monsters in some places, and I had a Small Coin. Everything else seemed the same.

That's everything I can think of. Post your own questions too.

Hey!

1a. The bell with money is the purpose
1b. Her hood is white, that's why. Sorry you disliked it!
1c. What?
1d. Nothing

2a. No
2b. Something for you to think about

3a. No. It's a reference to Dan Kim's himehorn comics, a cameo character
3b. No

4a. Nothing
4b. You can get there, but not through the door

5a. To get the green leaf
5b. New enemies (for Easy/Normal playthrough), you start with much of the same equipment, life, and ivory bugs/map. You also take more damage (20% each NG+ cycle, I think)

Alright, thanks! It just seems odd to me that so much world flavoring is hidden in dead ends. Normally that kind of stuff is placed conspicuously to enhance the atmosphere but this game hides it away like it's afraid to show the player anything deeper beyond the fighting and jumping. It was a good little game, but I feel like I've already done and seen everything there is. Feels kind of hollow to be done this fast.

I can only apologize. Will always try to do better next time! Thanks for the feedback, and I'm sorry you were left disappointed.

I don't know there is a charm to shorter games. You can pop them up and beat them whenever you feel like. For example it takes me 30 mins or shorter to beat megaman 9 and 10 but I play them like once a day.

We need games that can be finished quickly (for example this) and not quickly (for example something like trails in the sky an RPG) at the same time.

i think is less about beating the game quickly and more about theres more things to explore and discuss after the end ya know? i fell kinda like him, it was such a great experience but in the end there is basicly nothing left, dead-ends. Extremely well made tho.

That is still subjective though as a lot of people have talked about the stuff in this game. There are a lot of random characters and lore in the game that doesn't necessarily tie into the main story of our heroine (essentially a soldier) killing a demon (the queen). The main story is not the important part, it is more about seeing the side-effects of this plague on this land.
