Have 4 Crest Fragments but the door won't open.
So I'm running through the game pick up all 4 Crest Fragments but the white cloud door still says "Karst Crest needed to pass". I've even looked a map from a walk through and revisted all the places where the fragments are to varify that I have collected them all.
Am I missing something?
or did I some how manage to break the game?
or is this one of those games that won't alow you to finish it on easy?

Please upload your save file somewhere to me so I can take a look. I haven't heard of this issue before, but it shouldn't be happening.
Are you sure you got all Four Crest Fragments (in your Key Items inventory)? Please confirm this to me as soon as you can.

In any case, I'll spoil you below about their locations:
1 - After Pardoner Fennel
2 - After Derelict Frida
3 - After Heretical Arsonist
4 - Just before the Edea boss fight, in an area in the forest where you have to access as a cat

Maybe you have confused getting a Crest Fragment for getting a Vitality Fragment? I'd need to open your save file on my end to make sure everything is triggered correctly.

Please tell me more about this and, if possible, upload your save file somewhere.
You can get your save files by doing the following:
Pressing the Windows key + R in your keyboard, then pasting "%LOCALAPPDATA%/MomodoraRUtM" without quotation marks. It will open a folder with some files called slot1, slot2, etc. Those are the save files.

I can conferm that I have all 4 Crest Fragments.
here is a link to a copy of the save file:

As for any extra details their isn't much to tell. The only weard thing that I've done is add a few DDL files to suport a generic USB game pad (x360ce - emulates a 360 controller) but those files don't overwrite any of the existing games files or libary files that are externaly linked during run time.

I just tested your save and the door opened without any issues. You do meet all the requirements. Are you sure you went to the correct spot? I took this screenshot to show you the door location:

This spot can be accessed by warping from a save bell to Karst City, then going one screen to the right and one screen up. Try it for me, please.

I started up my PC this morning to try and play the game again and unlike yesterday I could get past the door. The only thing I did differntly is I warped to the Karst City. Previously I manualy walked the character from where ever I was on the map to the door.

I honestly don't know what could have been different as both cases imply a complete reload of several internal values. I also tried walking from your save spot to the door and had no issues.
Regardless, I'm glad you were able to get past the door.
