First of all, try running the game with as few programs open and see if it launches properly. Some programs could be interferring with the game (for example, MSI Afterburner, Riva Tuner...), so closing everything you can would minimize those types of situations.
Other than that, so here's a list of potential solutions you might want to try:
a) Make sure your Steam client is updated (steam -> check for client updates). Trying a beta Steam Client might be worth a shot, too.
b) Make sure your graphics drivers are updated.
c) Changing the applications's .exe to compatibility mode for Win7 has also been said to fix this issue for many users recently.
d) Also make sure the game is running with the correct graphics cards. On a desktop computer you can usually find a control panel application for your graphics card where there's an option to select which card to boot the game with. For Laptop users with Nvidia cards, there's also this small step-by-step:
1. Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > Under Display adapter > you should see Intel HD Graphics and NVIDIA.
2. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Desktop > Display GPU Activity Icon in Notification Area. You will see a black chip picture in the taskbar. If the chip turns rainbow, which means your NVIDIA GPU is running.
3. Go to NVIDIA Control Panel to switch between two graphics manually under Manage 3D Settings > Preferred Graphics Processor.
I'm glad!
Cheers!
It does run on fullscreen, but depending on your setup you might need to do somethings like changing the compability mode to Windows 7 or 8. Something recently happened in a Windows 10 update that broke this for more people than usual, but at least that compability fix seems to work for everyone that's tried it so far.
Find where the game is installed on your computer, right click the .exe file (MomodoraRUtM.exe), go to Properties > Compatibility. There should be options in there.
These should be the general steps, I'm not sure if something is different on Windows 10 (if you are on Win 10).
Please update me whether you can change it or not.
