best start off with a very simple grid, you can then use Tools->Subdivide Trixels to double the trixel count/half the trixel size.
The drawing part is pretty much self explanatory if you use the hotkeys list (thanks for that). Maybe we need more detailed documentation about animation and effects
Also PLEASE add a hotkey to the palette tab! I'm still learning but the workflow sometimes feels slow when I'm using the palette. Can you please make let's say Alt + P open/close the palette tab in the midle of the screen (similar to what Krita does)?
