The Google Translate Is Strong In This One.
What future plans are there for the translation?

Considering the fact that most Chinese people aren't very comfortable with English (just like most people from Asia, in fact), I think the team did a pretty good job on this one. There are some inconsistencies here and there, but overall we still get the meaning.

If devs would open source the english dialogues, maybe some of us could help polish the translations.
I don't really mind average translations with this kind of game though, it's part of the "asian" signature, you kind of get used to it. And hiring a certified translator isn't cheap, unfortunately.

Sadly, from what I've read the translation is far below average. Some of it even left untranslated according to some reviews. But it is in early access still, so I figured I might as well ask.

Yeah, part of it is still in Chinese yet (5-7% I'd say), the devs said they'd translate the rest as soon as they can.
As for the translation quality, well yeah, if you're a native english speaker you might find some stuff a bit disturbing. It depends on how much tolerance you're willing to have.
The screenshot section gives some examples of that.

to be honest you are not missing much from skipping the dialogues altogether and some dialogues just doesn't translate. It would either be too awekward to translate or the humour can only be retained in its original language.

I'm under the impression OP is wondering if since it is in early access the translations are going to get better, not simply completed.

If they don't I certainly am asking that. Are there plans to improve the existing translations while in early access?

You all are not used to MHO for translations are you? I use Google translate and take pics to read the the text on the fly for the portions in that game. This game sounds like you would only have to do this a few times for the still untranslated sections. Food for thought until it is completely translated.

Yeah, thanks for your support first!
These developers had received many suggestions from English players.
They promised that they will try their best to fix English mistakes.:bbtcat:

I don't remember where, but you spelled the world "trouble" as "troublr" in one of your dialogues.
