Hello Everyone! This is Spacepiano / Jack Rafferty, the developer of Voidside: Order! Whether you know me from The Victor Initiative, or if this is your first time here, welcome! I'm so excited to finally be able to talk about Voidside: Order. This is a game that I've been working on in secret for over 1.5 years, so there's already a lot to go over! First of all, in case you missed it, you can watch the trailer here:

Now, onto the details!

Voidside: Order is set in a far-future alternate reality threatened by a monolithic bureaucratic regime, titled ‘The Order’, that’s hell-bent on eliminating anyone and everyone perceived as a threat to its reign. The story is told by a cast featuring Kiyan Burch (The Victor Initiative) as the protagonist, and Sam Lake (Max Payne, Alan Wake 2) as a side character named ‘James Fuller’, with more cast members to be revealed in the future.

Voidside: Order sees players fight the Order across a dense, open-ended world using a variety of weapons and skills that get stronger along with your bonds with characters. These bonds can be improved by completing bespoke quests that give you insights into your teammates, featuring mechanics that are unique to each character. These quests then award you with new skills to take into the main campaign. It’s important to note that Voidside: Order is a standalone game that doesn’t require prior knowledge of Voidside to enjoy.

Core gameplay involves tackling a wide variety of enemies in fast-paced acrobatic FPS combat, with wall-running, dashing and sliding all available from the get-go. Between fights, there are plenty of opportunities for players to express themselves through movement, with the act of moving between objectives becoming an optional traversal challenge thanks to obstacles carefully placed throughout the world.

Destroy a reality-threatening regime, and look cool while doing it. Make sure to wishlist the game on Steam, and stick around both here and on my socials for more news about the game!
Thank you so, so much for reading. This game is a real dream project for me, and I can't wait to get it into your hands.

More will follow!
