Dark Seekers after V1.0?

Can anyone tell me if the Dark Seekers are back?
And if yes, when and how do you encounter them?

SPOILER:
I am at the story point where I went to that Robotics facility.
After using the Computer, Pamela told me a Signal of unknown Origin is approaching me. I was expecting a Dark Seeker ... but there was nothing. I took all the time in the world to explore. Even during the nights after that.

as i understand, dark seekers are weird robot that show up at night, are imediately hostile and can cloak. never saw them myself, but there's something in the wiki about them

They were abundant during early access and were the main threat, i haven't seen one for long since the january update.

The "Signal of unknown origin" turns out to be a "Stalker", a Seeker with stealth abilities.

Well, my Stalker decided to just ignore me then and walk away.
Probably decided to grab a Coffee nearby or hold a meeting instead of attacking me =)

Hope my game isn't bugged and I can still encounter Stalkers in the future.
Edit: I mean in game Stalkers ...

I did encounter one at Nascent Robotics. It was only semi-hostile. I think it started tracking something else, and didn't come to kill me.

After that, I went through a couple of nights with nothing. Either the start of the quest to get the items from Nirvana, or after a few days, I had a few Dark Seekers appear at night.

Only a few showed up, and definitely not in the same numbers before 1.0, especially with a high Genome Point spend.

I hauled my behind out of Nascent immediately after interacting with the computer. Never met a Dark Seeker on my way out, was going too fast i guess.
But,
if you stay awake till 2100 after this, you may hear a loud, booming sound. This is the warning, that Dark Seekers may spawn now. I actually met one, but only one. Needless to say, it melted rather fast in the fire of my turrets :D
These guys are active until 0700 the next day if remeber correctly.

where's nascent robotic located? does the game explain why there are dark seekers around?

I haven't come across any "Dark Seekers" yet, just a couple of Stalkers in Nirvana.

Nascent is in the SE corner of Oasis, on the other side of Garrison and past the entrance to Nirvana.

Dark seekers (aka stalkers) are normally found around quest areas, i am up to the quest (open coms) i find one of the buggers every now and then,
Tho i seem to be stuck on the quest as i cant for the life of me find the casino item after doing several dozen laps of what i believe is the casino.

Stalkers are not Dark Seekers, they are simply Seekers with stealth, Dark Seekers are something...else.

Yeah i ran into the dark seeker right after that message it counts as the final boss fight of the (open coms) quest.
Gotta say it took a beating but it was an overly easy fight.
Finished the game after 100% every sector was abit disapointed.
Wish there was more enemie variety.
