Rush to Space achievement question.
So the text says 'before unlocking purple or yellow science'
so does that mean just not researching the science packs themselves or keeping their node red the entire time?
Question is because I have to research everything required for yellow science just to leave the planet so it'll be researchable and I don't know if that will disqualify the achievement or not.

Unlocking the recipes is the condition (or rather not unlocking them), so just don't research the technology that unlocks them.

I believe it means you cannot unlock them or anything after, which means no yellow science either.

You can not unlock either science pack. It's fine so long as those packs are not researched.

You can pin the achievement in game to track it (click on achievements above the minimap), and it'll show you if it's still achievable or not, by turning red if it cannot be completed anymore.

I've realized that it's optimal to build purple science on Vulcanus and yellow science on Fulgora anyway. The natural progression is to get this achievement. But you won't realize that the first time.
