How to deactivate the ,,logistic'' task in inventory??

How can toggle it off? It is annoying to have that big thing between my inv and crafing menu

I think he meant the logistics requests etc in the character menu. And as far as I know you can't make it go away once you have logistics researched.

If you're asking about "requester" slots (where you say "I want 200 conveyors at all times") I think you right-click or middle-click to remove it.

If you're talking about your "dumping" slots, I don't know why you'd ever want to remove them, they're free extra storage you get even if you don't actually have a logistics network. I use them to store bulk items like railways, etc.

Correction. It appears when you unlock logistic robots.

And you cannot get rid of it. Once the research is done it will always be there when you open your inventory.

You can't remove it. Comes with logistic bot research.

I would take a screenshot but there is a massive heat wave where I live at the moment and booting up factorio would trigger my cpu overheat protection and shutdown my pc.

Basically it is the section on your inventory where you can set items and your logistic bots will deliver them to you.

Heatwave in Germany too. 37degrees last week. I got bad headache and sleeping in a 32C room is pretty difficult

You can't remove it, but you can certainly hide it behind a tab. There is a setting in the interface options that allows to switch how inventory is displayed, one of the options moves logistics/trash slots to the same place as the crafting menu, and adds tabs to the top to switch between logisctic/crafting. Makes inventory more compact horizontally

Enabled: Logistics and Crafting are both present side-by-side.

Disabled; Logistics and Crafting can be switched between each other.
