Delete or demolish buidlings?

How can I demolish buildings?

I kow ho to rotate them but how can i destroy a building if I placed it wrong?

yes that's the problem. It doesn't work with the right mouse button.

To dismantle/pick up a building, it's the same button that you use to mine manually. By default it is [Right Click]+hold and if you changed that keybind then the key/button to dismantle your buildings will be the same as what you set for mining.

Nukes are best, especially at point blank range.

You can't actually break anything until you get to robots so just keep playing and when you get construction robots just click the red button and circle your buildings and they will break them for you.

You might be too far away from it as well. Your character only had so much range unless you use mods like far reach. If you mouse over it and it's highlighted red you are to far and if yellow you can interact with it.

False. You can pick up anything you put down at any point in the game as long as you are close enough to interact with the building.

Control+z delete last action, it does for multiple steps back. you will need bots anyway.
