is there a way to disable crafting in singleplayer?

i'm trying lazy bastard achievment. was wondering if i could turn it off in singleplayer. or do i need to build a server?

Yes. Open the console, and type /permissions (this command does NOT block the cheevies).

Personally, I just rebound craft 1 to Alt + Left Click, Craft 5 to Alt + Right Click, and Craft all to Alt + Middle Click.

After all, you still need to craft a few things.

Not anymore. Neither items use fluids, so you can use an Assembler 1 to create them (one of the 0.17 changes).

been like that for a while now. real handy when going for lazy bastard achievement.which is easier now with restrictions lifted on assemblers.
also great if you play multiplayer. you can limit the damage random players can do.

arumba got that achievment with a multiplayer server. which was intresting.

I already had the achievement. That was 60 hours of my life lost to learning how to do things a new way.

well 60 hours for you but it will take more than that for me. (haven't really launcher a rocket without mods)

I'm actually estimating it was 60 hours, but that may just be my memory trying to trick me into doing it again. I'm not sure why it does that. It must hate me with a passion.

well whatever. not made much progress on the factory other than automated some ciercuts and eletric miners. also didn't notice the reduces miner production rate. that will be an issue early game.
