Leyak Essence a Tradable Good
Considering the literal hundreds of it piling up in the game work, it would be REALLY NICE if Leyak Essence were a decently valuable Tradable Good

you can use them to craft leyak fish bait, fishing which will grant you 300 xp (also making sleepy seeds and trading for GATE keys). Probably the highest of all the fish i caught, so atleast now it has some kind of use

I'd rather not use it for fish bait. That'd mean I'm making an item with that can only be used for getting more of said item I'm wanting to get rid of. Though slight spoiler, you can make meal out of that fish without cutting it up and not get more of those radioactive balls.

Still, I'd like to find a good way to trade in the two full stacks of glowing black and red death I have in my Hazard Crate.
(as well as a safe way to transport them, which I think is coming soon)

Good Point,
that's something. I don't know if I need 200+ bait though.

I have two 'full stacks' of 64.

Holding one is likely enough to nuke you in short order, even while wearing a hazmat suit.

Yeah I just moved base.
Even wearing the rat suit & carrying them in the Research pack for a few moments got the static up QUICK

It is, technically, a tradable good already. You can use it to make Nyxshade Seed, then exchange it for a GATE Security Key.

Yeah, but it is a limited trade. It is still a very good trade and should be done at least once, but after that you typically don't need extra copies of things, unless in a co-op game.

I did open 2-3 of those, and then opened more while looking for a bug (which the devs did fix before I could find it), and I still have over 2 stacks (of 64) of the red and black death-balls.

When that seed becomes usable, even then it would be limited, since I would only need or want one in my solo game.

What the seed grows has already been datamined. You'll likely want multiple growing depending on your play style. But yeah, beyond that there needs to be something else useful to use the essence for.

It might be interesting if there was a cross lab trade system, like the ones we've got in Cascade but spread around through others as well.

Like it would be nice if we could have Greyeb Seed converters at the third floor of the starting lab, where we could turn the seeds into something like "scrap silver" -- then we teleport back to cascade and turn the silver to Carbon.

I really like being able to turn wheat into gems, if there was a more convoluted way to produce the carbon (rather than just harvesting the train), I think that would be a satisfying solution for the LE (toxic piles).

I wish there was like a peaceful way to get rid of the Leyak permanently.
Like opening a portal to its home dimension and then it gets the figgedy fugg up outta here.
Mrs. Wheezy is trivialized after unlocking the X-ray cannon, and it is indeed more of a hassle dealing with her drops then dealing with her presence.

Would be nice if leyak essence could be traded for carbon and/or carbon plating
