Buildable Sentries? *SPOILERS*

Please only weigh in here if you know how to unlock buildable sentries. I know it's possible to beat Tarasque Ichor without them, but I would like to unlock them anyways. If you don't have this information, I'm kindly asking that you don't respond. Respect this, please and thank you.

I've disabled the security sentries (they have blue light now). I know that I can beat the Tarasque Ichor without the buildable security sentries, but I've seen some screenshots with buildable sentries (the ones with the bullets, not the x-ray ones I already have) and would actually like to unlock those anyways. How do you unlock the crafting recipe for buildable sentries?

There are no buildable sentries in the game currently, possibly in the future. The best you have right now is a disc turret.

How do I learn how to craft disc turrets?

iirc the material that unlocked the disk turrets was the carapace material made from the bug shells in the very hot dimension. iirc the other parts are all used in earlier recipies.

So basically what they're saying is you won't be able to unlock it before beating the tarasque. Since you need its material to repair the portal machine.

Someone on the official discord was doing a trap run, and I think they killed it with some chopinators, and maybe some other traps. I think that was at least a day ago. So finding the messages would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Yeah, that screenshot was probably from someone who's trying to farm the Tarasque.

This is so unnecessary. All I needed to kill Tarasque was grinder and electric spear. Shoot 4-5 grinder blades at it's red belly protrusions and when it falls down hit glowing flaps with the spear. Repeat until it's dead. I wasted maybe 20 grinder blades and 3 minutes of time on all of this. People think Tarasque is unkillable because they are doing it wrong.

This. And if someone is keen on using traps for it, tesla coils will be much more effective due to it's weakness to lightning anyway.

If you want to be lazy you can set up a charger in the first room to the right after ducking under the door (you will need to run some cables) and then just sit in the room shooting it with electro gun, ducking in and out as necessary to poke it in the back. I recommend this area, as if you kill it when it's kneeling through a wall the goodies might drop into the void.

I killed it shortly after this using tesla coils and grinder. I've unlocked the disc turret now.

Thank you about bringing up this topic, I never actually made the Disc Thrower weapon, so the turret recipe never showed up, after I made it, it's craftable! Wouldn't have known about it otherwise without this post! Best part about those turrets is that they don't attack you unlike the Tesla Coils, which is great stuff for making areas secure!

Until the turret shoots at a enemy behind you and nails you with the disc, or it bounces off of walls and hits you by random chance.

Yea, his dont build turret but got it unlock so i dont remember them tho u should know what that recipe is for if it need green gas generator thinggy
