I think there's ui space to realistically fit around 22-24 perk levels, but 20 is a nice round number and sounds like it would be the cap. Can't give any certain answers since you aren't catching me leaving the game on overnight training strength with a jump pad and a ramp.
This is a good method for idling but obviously wouldn't work overnight due to hunger/thirst/sleep/toilet requirements.
In any case, I remember that in the demo we had a lot more levels, I can't recall if it was 20 or 25.
It works. I've maxed out Strength twice in two playthroughs doing this.
Past threads about it have been moved/deleted and can't be accessed anymore (except by the original poster). I'm not about to try to hunt through the recovery bin of demo era posts.
It was capped at 5, but it showed way more level bars.
Honestly I was so distracted by thinking about the leyak disrupting it that I forgot about hunger/thirst until after I hit post.
I think they do intend to have more levels, because the fact that we can reasonably max a skill out by the end of containment labs feels really dead-endy given the amount of content we have ahead of us. I assume the playtest with the greyed out level slots were confusing some people so they opted for this route instead.
Например охранник сможет прокачать бой до 25, а обычный ученый до 20. (20 стандартных уровней, 5 бонусных от профессии)
На мой взгляд это было бы идеально.
True, would make picking a class matter over picking the blank slate character who has most perk points. With how it is currently the Starting Perks matter more then skill levels in the long run. Maybe if they for example starting the Defence Analyst with at least enough Accuracy to use military type weapons. Why is what is described as the Guard Job who happens to be smart enough to be a scientist gets force shafted with Slow Learner, the lowest Perk points, and somehow not able to use any of the types of weapons you see laying around the other guards you see and pass by during the tutorial. They don't even start with a security pistol for some reason. Just the worn out vest with low defence, hat, and baton.
