Then start a new playthrough :) I have done a bunch. A new base location can change things a bit if you want to.
I prefer the game solo. You get much more out of the atmosphere.
The idea that league of legends is a co-op game and in fact not a radioactive barrel of toxicity is probably what's soured you on the idea of co-op.
In short for the last part of your comment, I'd say you actually lose content by doing that. I've been on the same save since launch and I've had to back track for a few things that I would've naturally found had I made a new save after labs but overall you dont technically lose anything you just sometimes give yourself or (in some circumstances) save yourself some work.
